Well, again I've been absent for a while, but for good reason. I found out I was pregnant back in May and I've come to my final days - I'm 2 days overdue and waiting for the birth. This is my first child so I'm nervous about...well, everything.  I'm having a homebirth with a birthing pool and no drugs (it's just something I don't believe in), and planning on doing the feeding as naturally as possible, staying well away from formulas.  We've moved off the boat for this reason and now reside in a little 2 bed mid terrace cottage that belonged to the miners in the Victorian period. It's also one road down from the birthplace of the great writer

I will just say my apologies now for the huge amount of photos I've uploaded - I knew I'd been away for a while but I hadn't realised just how long!  I'm still not finished with the updating but it'll be over soon :P I suppose I should say 'Happy New Year', although I'm a pagan and my new year was in October, the day after Halloween (Samhain) to be precise.  So welcome to the new year; you're late, so hurry up and get settled in.

So, a new year and a new journal skin! I know it's been a long time since I last spent any real time here in DA land, and since it's a new year and I'm putting my energy into revisiting old things, I may as well update my profile on here.  Besides, I have plenty of new things to show you all, and lots of ideas for some good photos this year too. I hope you all have a good new year to come, full of luck and love and freedom and above all - hope.  Never give up hope. One way or another you'll find your way through.
